Scorpia Rising
In this adventure, Alex rider may be on his last mission… permanently. Or so we think…
Although Alex loses his best friend, he still pushes forward to defeat Scorpia. Alex is found and locked up in the middle of the desert for many days until Jack thinks that she’s found a way out. She thinks that there’s a loose bar in her jail cell. But it’s all a trick. It’s staged. Jack is now sitting on 30 lbs of high explosives…And the remote to detonate the explosives is in the hand of someone Who hates him. And that someone also has a plan to assassinate the secretary of state.
My Hero!
My grandpa is my hero because he’s always there to catch me when i fall. He is the star of my life, and he will do anything for me.
My grandpa is compassionate, loving, and caring. Most importantly, he’s my grandpa and he will always be my grandpa.
My grandpa is also loving and caring for the community. He helps people with yard work and he never expects anything in return.
My grandpa is my mental and physical rock because he’s always there when I’m down
My grandpa is a very spiritual leader for me and he always tells me to keep following Jesus. And, he is also very spiritually leading to the people around him.
My grandpa will always be there and will support me through my lifes journey, and he will always point me in the right direction.

5th Grade Reflections
I learned how to do equivalent Fractions better, I learned about mixtures and solutions in science, and I learned how to remember the Solar System better.
I struggled in reading and getting my points, I also had a hard time in Math on the STAR Test, And I struggled on the STARR Test.
One of the things that surprised me was that Mr. Mac put us in a Cardboard tube and rolled us down a hill, Another thing that surprised me was when we got to touch the lab equipment in the Science lab, one more thing was when we made spicy hot crackers in Mrs. Owens class.
One of the things i was dissapointed in was that we didn’t get a field trip to the Science center in Tyler, Another thing was that my mom is a music teacher and i have to stay up at school until 5:30 sometimes. I will be very dissapointed that i have to leave 5th grade! 🙁
The Civil War
The American Civil War took place on April 12,1861 and lasted until May 9,1865, thats 4 Years 3 Weeks and 6 Days! It was a very rememberable time for the United States. Here are some facts that i bet you didn’t know about the Civil War.
1. One-third of the soldiers who fought for the Union Army were immigrants, and nearly one in 10 was African American.
2. Black Union soldiers refused their salaries for 18 months to protest being paid lower wages than white soldiers.
3. Harriet Tubman led a raid to free slaves during the Civil War.
4. Lincoln was shot at—and almost killed— nearly two years before he was assassinated.
5. Before William Tecumseh Sherman became a great Union general, he was demoted for apparent insanity.
6. General Ulysses S. Grant wasn’t the bloodiest general of the war—Robert E. Lee was.
7. Both before and during the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln pushed to send freed slaves abroad.
8. Robert E. Lee’s Virginia estate was confiscated by the Union and turned into a cemetery during the war.
9. Privates weren’t cannon fodder during the Civil War—generals were.
10. More men died in the Civil War than any other American conflict, and two-thirds of the dead perished from disease.

Spring Break is over, but thats ok. Me and my family had a great time, we went camping with some friends in Arkansas at De Gray Lake Resort. We Rode bikes, went fishing and just chilled out at the campsite some of the time. A park ranger showed me and my friend the best way to start a fire. When we got home my dog was so excited to see us, She jumped up with joy. This year Spring Break was probably the most fun i’ve had on any Spring Breaks. 🙂
This Spring Break Im going camping with some friends, we are going to have a good time. We both have campers, we will take our bikes, and scooters to ride around the campsite. If we have time, I might go fishing with my Dad. I have a feeling that my spring Break is going to be a good one.
